Display currency and region defaults
See prices in BDT (৳), USD ($), INR (₹), EUR (€), and other supported currencies. A saved choice wins; otherwise we use your region.

నిర్వచనం
BonikBiz shows catalog prices in a display currency. You can change it anytime from the header. If you have not chosen one, we select a local currency from your region, or USD if the region is unknown.
Use the currency selector in the website header. A saved choice always takes priority over automatic region detection.
1. Multi-currency support
BonikBiz supports multiple currencies, including BDT (৳), USD ($), INR (₹), EUR (€), and other supported currencies. Customers can change their preferred currency at any time using the currency selector in the website header (on phones, open the menu).
- BDT (৳) — Bangladeshi Taka
- USD ($) — US Dollar
- INR (₹) — Indian Rupee
- EUR (€) — Euro
- And other supported currencies in the selector
2. Region-based currency display
The system chooses a display currency in this order:
- If a customer has already selected a currency, their selected currency is retained and takes priority.
- If no currency has previously been selected, the system detects the customer’s region and automatically selects the corresponding local currency. For example: Bangladesh → BDT (৳), United States → USD ($), India → INR (₹). Other supported regions use their corresponding supported local currency.
- If the region cannot be determined, the default currency is USD ($).
3. Region detection
The region is detected using available CDN/geolocation information, including supported geo headers such as CF-IPCountry, Vercel geo information, and CloudFront geo information.
- Where such geo information is unavailable, the system uses the customer’s browser timezone as a fallback. For example: Asia/Dhaka → BDT (৳).
4. Customer currency selection
Customers always have the option to manually change their currency using the currency switcher. Their selected currency is then retained as their preferred display currency.
5. Bangladesh / BDT pricing
For customers in Bangladesh, the system now automatically displays BDT (৳) as the default currency when no previous currency preference exists. This ensures that local customers see pricing in Bangladeshi Taka.
