व्याख्या
Store → Reports · Store → Reports → POS · Analytics (plan-dependent)
Reports summarize commerce performance: revenue, products sold, and channels. When POS is available, Reports → POS covers till/shift closing. Analytics may appear on eligible plans when enabled. Reports are not Accounting books.
Compatibility
- Commerce Reports: plans that include the Reports module (confirm Store → Billing).
- POS closing: Billing POS capability plus matching staff permission — and Reports → POS available for the store.
- Analytics: plan-dependent; open only when the Analytics menu is present / enabled.
- Formal tax, TB, P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow: Accounting (Growth+).
Rule: Reports = commerce / operational performance. Accounting = formal financial books. They are not substitutes.
What Reports is (and is not)
Use Reports for: Sales / revenue performance Product & channel performance POS closing / shift report (when available) Analytics trends (when enabled on your plan) Do not use Reports for: Trial Balance · P&L · Balance sheet · Cash flow · Tax → those live under Store → Accounting Also elsewhere: Cash / Bank / MFS movement → Banking Operating expenses (opex) → Expenses
Reports shows operational and commercial performance. It is not a substitute for Accounting.

Path & views
Store → Reports commerce summaries: revenue, products, channels Store → Reports → POS — POS closing / shift report (when available) Analytics — deeper trends (when enabled on eligible plans)
Filters usually include date range and sometimes channel or storefront context.
Behavior
- Reports revenue follows order/payment recognition rules — it can differ from Accounting P&L revenue (timing, cancellations/refunds, journal dates, expenses, tax treatment). Do not treat Reports revenue as accounting revenue.
- POS report focuses on till/shift closing, not GL journals.
- Export/print options follow what your plan UI exposes.
- Missing menu items usually mean plan or permission limits.
Where to go for each question
How much did we sell? → Reports Which product/channel is winning? → Reports What did the POS shift close at? → Reports → POS Do debits = credits? → Accounting → Trial Balance What is profit/loss? → Accounting → P&L Assets / liabilities / equity? → Accounting → Balance sheet Where is cash / bank / MFS? → Banking What operating expenses happened? → Expenses What tax is due (summary)? → Accounting → Tax
How to use Reports
- Open Store → Reports.
- Set the date range for the period you want to review.
- Scan revenue, top products, and channel breakdowns.
- For till closing, open Reports → POS when available and complete the closing checklist.
- For trends beyond the summary cards, open Analytics when it is enabled on your plan.
- For tax, TB, or P&L sign-off, switch to Store → Accounting.
Examples
Weekly sales Reports → last 7 days → which products led units sold? POS night close After shift → Reports → POS → reconcile cash to till count → complete closing Books vs sales Reports strong · Accounting P&L different → compare recognition dates, cancellations/refunds, posted expenses
Common errors
- Numbers disagree with Accounting — different purpose; use Accounting for books.
- No POS report — confirm Billing POS capability and the matching permission, and that Reports → POS is available.
- Empty report — widen date range and confirm orders exist for that period.
- No Reports menu — check Billing plan and staff permissions.
