Production — turn materials into finished goods

Save a recipe (BOM), then run production: materials go down, finished products go up in your warehouse.

Ruta: Store → Production

Definición

Production means making a finished product from parts you already stock. A BOM (Bill of Materials) is the recipe: “to make 1 finished item, use these components and quantities.” When you post a production run, BonikBiz reduces component stock and increases finished-goods stock in the warehouse you choose.

What you need

  • Professional plan or higher (Production on Store → Billing).
  • Products for both materials and the finished item, plus at least one warehouse.

Simple example: To make 10 gift boxes you need 10 boxes + 20 ribbons. Save that BOM. Run production for qty 10 → stock of boxes/ribbons falls, gift boxes rise by 10.

Save a BOM (the recipe)

  1. Open Store → Production → Edit BOM.
  2. Choose the finished product.
  3. Add each material and how much is needed for 1 finished unit.
  4. Save the BOM so you can reuse it.

Run production (make a batch)

  1. Choose warehouse, finished product, and how many to make.
  2. Load the saved BOM (it scales by quantity) or type materials by hand.
  3. Add an optional note/date, then post the production.
  4. Check Inventory / Warehouse: materials down, finished goods up.
Nota: BOM = Bill of Materials (recipe). Related: Warehouse · Purchases/GRN for buying materials. GRN = Goods Receipt Note (stock received from a supplier).
