Getting started checklist

First-week setup by plan — progressive checklists with clear “done when” goals.

Business Suite · Fundamentals

Ścieżka: Store → Billing · then module paths by plan

Definicja

A first-week checklist to unlock the right Business Suite modules for your plan and verify one end-to-end purchase or books flow. Complete prerequisites first, then run only the section that matches your Billing plan.

Before you start

  • Requires a live store, categories, products, and the correct plan on Billing.
  • Each plan section below assumes that plan tier is active.
  • Confirm Store → Billing before you follow a higher-tier checklist.

This checklist comes after Core concepts (journals, stock, parties). Use it in week one to prove your plan’s modules work end to end.

Before you start (everyone)

Verify your plan tier first — every checklist below assumes the matching plan is active.

  1. Confirm the store is live (published / accepting activity as expected).
  2. Create categories for product grouping.
  3. Create products (at least 2–3 test items).
  4. Open Store → Billing and confirm your current plan name.
Uwaga: Required: live store, categories, products, and the correct plan on Billing.

Starter — purchase → inventory → sell loop

Goal: test a full buy → stock → sell cycle.

  1. Create a supplier party.
  2. Create and send a PO (Purchase Order).
  3. Receive goods with a GRN (Goods Receipt Note).
  4. Confirm Inventory quantities increased.
  5. Sell one item on POS (Point of Sale) or online.
  6. Confirm stock decreased after the sale.
Uwaga: Done when: all six steps are complete and stock quantities changed as expected at receive and at sale.

Growth — treasury → accounting

Goal: configure money accounts and prove books post correctly.

  1. Add a cash treasury account.
  2. Add a bank treasury account.
  3. Post a test expense.
  4. Verify the journal / ledger entry.
  5. Open Trial balance.
  6. Check Cash flow.
  7. View the Tax report.
Uwaga: Done when: after the test expense, trial balance still balances (debit = credit) and cash flow shows the transaction.

Professional — warehouse

Goal: configure multi-warehouse stock ledger visibility.

  1. Set (or confirm) the default warehouse.
  2. Verify warehouse stock quantities.
  3. Review stock movements (in / out).
  4. Optional: set up a production batch.
Uwaga: Done when: warehouse stock in/out appears correctly on the stock movement report.

Business Suite plan — HR and payroll

Goal: turn on employees and a draft payroll. “Business Suite” here is the Billing plan name (see Store → Billing).

  1. Create an employee (HR — Human Resources).
  2. Configure payroll settings as shown in your store.
  3. Create a draft payroll / pay run.
  4. Verify payroll calculations for the employee.
Uwaga: Done when: the draft payroll shows correct pay amounts for the employee(s).

Enterprise — branches

Goal: configure multi-branch operations.

  1. Create a branch.
  2. Assign staff to the branch.
  3. Assign warehouses to the branch.
  4. Verify branch-scoped operations / report filters.
Uwaga: Done when: branch activity is tracked separately and report filters work by branch.

Enterprise | Branches | Branch → Staff/WH assign → Operations

Always re-check Store → Billing if a menu or step is missing.

Tips and cautions

  • Do not manually mark a PO as “received” — receive status comes from GRN or bill-posted receive.
  • Do not delete posted documents — void them so reversals keep reports correct.
  • Finish each plan section’s “Done when” before moving to the next tier’s checklist.
Uwaga: Read Core concepts (journals, stock, parties) first, then use this checklist to go live on your plan in week one.
